For the cellular testing of a number of substances, e.g. molecular bonds with DNA and proteins and peptides, spots are placed in micro-arrays without physical separation for biological assay
For testing a number of substances, in cellular tests, they are deposited on to flat surfaces (1) as spots (2) with a covalent attachment to the surfaces. The spots have a diameter of 100-500 Microm and are spaced 100-500 Microm apart without a physical separation between them. The test substances are obtained so that they are studied according to their biological activity (6) in the series, through a function of their aligned attachment at the surface (3) through a chemically unstable grouping (4), and also through a part of their molecules. The substance is released through a breakdown of the chemically unstable attachment, under conditions which are compatible with the growth of cell culture cells (9), while the bonding molecules remain at the surface. Using a function of complementary angles with substances which promote cell growth (8) or bonding (7), the cell growth can be restricted to the zones containing the test substances.
