The lock has two fastening sections (28,28') for connection to two struts of the rear part of a two-wheeled vehicle. A bolt passes through a fastening opening (30,30') in at least one strut, and engages with a flat support part (32,32') to support it on the strut. The opening is larger than the bolt in two directions, so that its position can be adjusted independently in two directions, orthogonal to each other, for adaptation to different bicycle types. The support has a head connected to the bolt, or a nut and a support part with aperture (38).
