The water ski (1) has the structure of a surfboard, with one for each foot. A binding, shoe or loop (5) is at the upper surface for the foot, of an elastic material with a contact bonding fastener to give a comfortable and adjustable fit. The interior of the board has a number of hollow chambers (3'-3') defined by intermediate walls (4), filled with air or gas for flotation. The under side is stiff, or stiffened.
