The test machine uses a mechanical process to move the collar (103) and, by turning the threaded shaft (104), the plug (113) accurately in the tube and the internal diameter of the tube of the tank filler pistol (111) can thereby be measured. The arrangement in which the test part is to be inserted is designed to fix it for testing.
