A microfilm, microfibre or hollow micro-fiber is cut using electroerosion to a thickness of twice the atomic size to 10 micrometer. Alternatively electroerosion is used to pulverize the microfibre or hollow micro-fiber. Doping with boron and/or nitrogen may be performed. An independent claim is included for various applications of the microfibre or hollow microfibre.
