Ultrasonic digital fingerprinting method in which mathematical correlation and pattern recognition methods are used rather that point by point methods to reduce sources of mathematical error
Ultrasonic method for authentication and identification of fingerprints in which the fingerprint is sampled using an ultrasound impulse to create a quantity of pattern arrays with each array containing a pattern function. The resultant arrays are compared with stored arrays to create auto- and cross correlation functions. The correlations are processed to create fingerprint models which are compared in order to find a correct fingerprint.
