A collector has coolant control elements (32), a bottle (4), a cover (6), a coolant feeder channel (38) and an output channel. The cover has channels (34,36) that do not connect to the inside of the bottle and locks into the bottle with a positive fit. Extra sealant can be used in the locking area. A channel outlet area can be welded or soldered regarding a heat exchanger (10) to be connected. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle's carbon dioxide air-conditioning facility with a collector.
