The oven (1) has a muffle furnace (5) mounted on a baseplate (4) to be plugged into a hood-shaped combustion chamber (3). The combustion chamber and baseplate are mounted in a guide post (6) which has a pit (8) for receiving the components of a propulsion unit (7) such as the drive motor (7a) and slide (7b). The propulsion unit is used for moving the baseplate towards the combustion chamber.
