Conical drillings (3) are formed on a base (1b) starting from the flat bottom surface (1d) of the dental cast (1). The conical sections (6a) of securement pins (6) are inserted into the drillings. The free ends (6b) of the securement pins are cast in a socket (5) at the lower surface of the dental cast. The dental cast is then removed from the socket, with the securement pins remaining in the socket.
