The housing has a peripheral frame formed by side and top and bottom walls and a rear wall provided by a separate platform (6) provided with shaped seatings or mounting elements allowing it to be fitted with the electricity meter and/or distributor components before attaching it to the housing walls. The platform can be formed in several parts which interlock and provided with corner elements used for securing the housing walls.
