The cover (2) has a cover disc with a diameter corresponding to a rim, and a central clamp element for connection to a rim part. A central core element (1) is of set axial length and the clamp element (11) is fastened top its front end (24). A cover disc part (10) has a central bore. The core element is held relatively axially moveable and adjustable in the bore, and can be fixed in set positions by a fastening unit (14,16,17) for adaptation to different rim shapes and sizes. The clamp elements are formed as wheel screw holders, and each has a clamp sleeve (12) plugged over a screw head.
