Production of a dialysis concentrate comprises feeding air to the liquid to be added to an exchange vessel (1) so that the liquid is displaced in the vessel using a rotary movement. An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the process comprising a storage tank (12) to which an exchange vessel (1) filled with all the materials necessary for the production of the concentrate is connected. Water added to the storage tank is introduced using a circulating pump (13) from below through the exchange vessel.
