The method involves regulating a slip between a turning of antifriction bearing outer ring and the rolling members arranged between bearing rings. A time interval of the number of revolutions of the bearing components around the bearing turning center is determined and compared with one another. From a measuring signal of a SAW sensor the slipping frequency is determined. From the measuring signal for the same time interval the change of angle of rotation position of the turning bearing ring is determined. The slipping frequency of the number of revolutions of the rolling members or the roller cage is computed around the central point of the antifriction bearing. The comparison of these two numbers of revolutions values determines whether the number of revolutions of a slip between these bearings occurs.
