The nail has a point (1) at the front and a point (2) at the rear. A rectangular striking plate (3) is located in the middle of the double-pointed nail to aid the hammering in of the nail. A hammering sleeve is slipped over a section of the double nail to effect hammering in of the nail. The sleeve is made of hardened and magnetized metal. The double point nail is manufactured from materials from existing available nail and screw production and in existing available sizes. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a nail and screw combination; (b) a nail and thread combination; (c) a nail and eye combination; (d) a nail and hook combination; (e) a hammering sleeve; and (f) a keyed pin as a screwing in aid for the double point.
