The linkage assembled from segments (1.1,2.2) has the segments constructed as similar connecting components (5) with contours for the reciprocal engaging of the slightly offset opposite lying segment. The rows of members (1,2) fit one behind the other like a slide fastener and are interconnected by at least one keeper movable along the rows. At least one defined number of segments has at least one preformed element (6) protruding from the plane of the support track which with the member rows connected touches the protruding preformed element of the preceding or following segment.
