Separation of predominantly sulfidic ores from gangue involves solubilization using an aqueous solution of a hydrophilic and metallophilic polythioether group- containing polymer
Separation of predominantly sulfidic ores from mineral gangue comprises (1) milling the gangue; (2) solubilizing the sulfidic ore by treatment in aqueous suspension with an aqueous solution of a hydrophilic and metallophilic polymer containing a =3 thioether group-including polythioether structural element per molecule; and (3) separating off the solubilizate. Independent claims are also included for the solubilizates and concentrates obtained from them.
