The heating radiator (1) is provided with an electronic heating cost indicator (2), for measuring the heat delivered by the heating radiator, together with a separate electronic memory (3), e.g. a semiconductor chip, storing data specific to the heating radiator, which can be transmitted to the heating cost indicator. The electronic memory can be attached to the heating radiator before it is coated so that it is covered by the radiator coating.
