A medical microreactor system employs an array of reactor elements (6) individually or in groups, forming a multi-element reactor channel, in a modular assembly, where the elements have standard geometry, and each comprises one or more main bodies, with standardized separation dimensions. A medical microreactor system employs an array of reactor elements (6) individually or in groups, forming a multi-element reactor channel, in a modular assembly, where the elements have standard geometry, and each comprises one or more main bodies, with standardized separation dimensions. The elements have a rectangular form (box-like). Standardized length (L) and width (B) are preferably a whole number multiple of a unit magnitude. The reactor channel has a constant depth and intersects them centrally, in a straight line. The elements themselves include reactor channels running parallel to the side walls (0[deg] type). In a variant design the channels are non-parallel to the side walls, preferably running at 45[deg]. Further variants with differing element geometries are described. An independent claim is included for the method used to manufacture the micro-reactor system.
