Yarn discharge jet for open-ended textile spinning assembly has sickle-shaped notches running over a cambered surface

An open-ended spinning assembly has a yarn discharge jet with a cranked and cambered contact surface translating from an end-face to a discharge passage. The contact surface has asymmetric notches (21) that are shallow at the inlet and translate at the outlet to a deeper contact interface. The sickle-shaped notches profile is in opposition that of the cranked yarn (14) profile. The notches (21) have an approximately constant radius of curvature. The jet has four or more notches.
