Cyclone-type dust collecting apparatus (100) has a dual contaminant separating structure comprising a cyclone body (111) having a dual structure including a first outer cylinder (112) and a first inner cylinder (113) with its lower part open. It includes an air inlet (114) an air discharge (117) connected to an upper surface (111a) of the body in an area of an upper surface of the inner cylinder. Air, including entrained contaminants, flows in through the inlet to form a cyclone stream. A contaminant discharge path (113a, 113b) formed on the lower side of the first inner cylinder discharges contaminants to a space between the first inner cylinder and first outer cylinder. A contaminant containing receptacle has an inner space divided into a first and second contaminant collection spaces by the dual structure of a second outer cylinder (132) corresponding to the first outer cylinder and the second inner cylinder (133) corresponding to the first inner cylinder. The contaminant containing receptacle has at least a second contaminant discharge path formed on the lower side of the second inner cylinder (133a, 133b) and a grill (150) mounted at the beginning of the discharge portion. The grill may also have a blocking member (153) which is connected to the grill by a locking knob (161).
