Production of a green body (3) from which a molded body is produced by sintering comprises inserting the green body into a suspension (1, 2) in such a way that the suspension is divided into two parts. A first electrode (4) for electrophoretic post-compression is arranged in the first part and the first part of the suspension contains electrophoretically deposited particles having a particle size which is smaller than the average pore diameter of the green body. A second electrode (5) for electrophoretic post-compression is arranged in the second part and the second part of the suspension contains electrophoretically deposited particles having a particle size which is smaller than the average pore diameter of the green body. One of the electrodes is connected as the anode and the other as the cathode.
