A synchronous comparison of interim results is transferred to a central comparison program from the parallel-running programs being tested (T=an altered program and TN=the existing program/test normal). In the central comparison program is stored a comparison-control-data/table with data (parameters, instructions, data ) variable per data file, data set, field and function, so that data supplied from the programs to be compared (T,TN) can be adapted so that correspondence can be again achieved.
