The front end construction of a vehicle has side elements (2) extending in the front to rear direction, a beam-like bumper reinforcement (3) extending across the vehicle at the front, and a support (1) for the attachment of at least one radiator. The support is secured on the front end by a bracket (4) which is fastened to at least one of the aforesaid elements (2,3). Connecting sections of the support to the bracket extend down from the side sections, and the bracket is provided with a reinforcing element section (4a) to interconnect the left and right hand side elements.
