The telecommunications peripheral has a selection device for input of connection data, a call signalling device for indicating a call from one of the telecommunications connections, an input device for entering information to be transmitted, an output device for output of received information and a short range radio transmitter and receiver for transmission of the connection data and the information to be transmitted with respective gateways for each of the telecommunications connections and reception of call signals and incoming information from the external gateways. An independent claim for a telecommunications device with at least one peripheral is also included.
