E-commerce purchasing method has the following steps: receipt (105) of a data record containing transaction parameters including a decision value; automatic testing of the first data record including determination of a second decision value using the transaction parameters and comparison of the two decision values; generation of a second data record dependent on the content of a comparison result signal; and transmission of the second data record over the network. The invention also relates to a corresponding system, device and computer program product. The invention enables a customer to submit a first purchase request to a supplier that includes all the relevant parameters. The customer is informed accordinly if the supplier is able to fufill the request or not.
