The collapsible transporting case comprises a base frame with opposite lying first and second sides comprising first and second side panels (34), each of which consists of a number of hinge-interconnected sub-panels which can be folded into a collapsed position or unfolded into an in-use position and fastened to the base frame which extends over the length and height of the respective first and second sides. Front (54) and rear (56) clamps are provided with fastening elements for the base frame and with fitting elements to attach the bicycle frame in a fixed position on the base frame. An Independent claim is included for a combination consisting of a collapsible transporting case and a bicycle trailer.
