A frozen gel produced with water demixes as it thaws and it keeps this condition as it refreezes. A piece of felt (2) can be used, in which balls (1) filled with colored water are incorporated. On reaching a preset temperature limit, constituents of a medium can be absorbed by a further constituent of the medium and mingle with each other.
