The gas sensor element has leads (2c,2d) which are connected to an oxygen pump cell and a sensor cell through the terminals (P1,P2) and conducting wires (L1,L2) provided on the sensor element surface, for receiving electrical signal. An Independent claim is also included for gas sensor element manufacturing method.
