A gradient coil's (221) conductors extend in the area of a hollow cylinder. First (231) and second (232) high-frequency (HF) screens surround conductors on two sides. An HF antenna element (240) fits in the center between the first and second HF screens. A third HF screen runs round the antenna element so that the HF screens limit a field return flow area (228'). An independent claim is also included for magnetic resonance equipment with a generator.
