A portable sign warns of a nearby road hazard e.g. a broken-down motor vehicle and is placed at the side of the road. The warning sign is a triangle printed on a reflective rectangular panel, and stored in a rolled up condition within a tube. The panel is supported in use by an unfolded arm.
