Portable remote-control for controlling computer presentation software using cursor control keys, left and right mouse keys and mode switching key

The remote-control (1) has a cursor control key group (11) with 4 control keys (114,111,112,113) for up, down, left and right movement and a microcontroller for controlling the cursor direction and velocity, with movement of the cursor at a 45 degree angle when 2 cursor control keys are depressed, the velocity determined from the control key depression duration. The remote-control also has left and right mouse keys (121,122) and a mode switching key (13), similarly coupled to the microcontroller, the control commands provided by the microcontroller fed via a remote-control transmitter to a remote-control receiver within the computer.
