The heating appliance (1), e.g. for hot water supplies, has a heating shaft (2), an exhaust gas collection hood (2), an underpressure chamber (4) with an exhaust gas chimney connection (6) and a blower (5). The blower is fixed in position in a positive fit between the exhaust gas chimney connection, the underpressure chamber and the exhaust gas collection hood, using a bayonet fitting, ribs and/or wedges as an integral part of the blower housing casting. The underpressure chamber is in at least two parts, held together by spring (11) tension.
