The tube connector connects the ends of two parallel tubes (11) to a main cross tube (12), and consists of two cylindrical end pieces (2,3) which on one side have a spigot (4) for the form-fit accommodating of the tube end, and on the other side have a screw connection (8) for the clamping of the cross tube. The outside diameter of the end pieces corresponds to the parallel tubes and the spigot is designed so that it can be driven into, plugged into or glued into the cross tube.
