The membrane cell system has a whole sector divided into several cells (1, 2), separated by sealing spring membrane tongues (3). By covering an aperture (4), the pressure is set. The pressure difference is set by the membrane tension. Covering the aperture causes the pressure in a cell to rise, closing the membrane (3.2).
