The invention proposes that a very small sound and light system (1) be produced employing the latest techniques in miniaturization of integrated circuits, loud speakers and LEDs. A pushbutton (5) or a proximity sensor switches on the system. The system can be housed in a double CD or DVD case (2) and can be removed from the case when required. Operation of the pushbutton relies on the flexibility of the case.
