The device has is internally connected to the plug connector on the relay and is clocked by the flasher relay generator, whereby its switch-on cycle is used to trigger an input monoflop with whose aid a timer is started. The switch-on time of the signal note generator is limited to about 2 seconds. The timer is only started to activate the signal generator if the direction indicator is set and the vehicle is moving.
