The disassembled flute is packed in a rectangular box (1) with a cardboard packaging filling (2). There may be cutouts in the packaging accommodating parts of the flute. There is a foot part (4), a mouthpiece (10), a cylindrical labium (13), a block holding the labium (12) and a decorative molding ring (14). There is a wind channel (11) and a curved strip of cork or sealing material (5). A holder (7) contains impregnation material e.g. oil or paraffin. The box also contains a cleaning rod (6) and a folded fabric bag (8) which may be used for transporting the flute.
