The cross country skiing simulator has a frame supporting a walking belt (1). The user holds a pair of simulated ski sticks (3) with the lower ends mounted to slide in slots in the frame to the left and right of the user. The lower ends of the sticks are connected to pneumatic resistance cylinders via pushers (5) moving in the slots (6).
