An air stream switching device (30) in a main pipe (24) has a main flap (MF) (31) for blocking a main air stream partly or totally and extra flaps (EF) (32,33) for releasing or blocking an extra air stream. A control unit (35) first opens the MF and operates an air fan (AF) with high output and then partly or totally closes the MF so as to open the EF and operate the AF at lower output. An independent claim is also included for a supplementary unit for a spraying/drying cabinet fed with air via a heater fan.
