A drive system is fitted under the tee area of a golf driving range to send a tee with ball automatically to the tee-off position . The teeing height can be adjusted from flush with the ground to a required height. The drive system has a steel frame let into a chamber underneath the tee area and with an associated electric motor to move the tee up and down in a guide rail. This is linked to the golf balls which roll out from a ball magazine.
