Multi-part feed path (10) has toothed edge (12) where its sections meet each other. Feed path is located at card/ticket in-feed opening. Toothed line (14) has meandering shape with outer wider parts and inner narrow parts. Cylindrical raised parts (16) at distance from toothed line are also located in feed path and serve to raise inserted card slightly above edge (12).
