Identification of molecules in carrier liquid held in reservoir, involves applying high-frequency electric energy to electrodes set in reservoir, in which molecules of carrier liquid are identified using their absorption resonance frequency
The method involves arranging two electrodes (12,12',14,14') in a reservoir containing the carrier liquid. High-frequency electric energy is then applied to the electrodes, such that the frequency is changed over a wide range and the molecules of the carrier liquid are identified using their absorption resonance frequency. An independent claim is included for the molecule identification apparatus for carrier liquid.
