The display packing comprises an upright cardboard box made from a blank and having at the top on the opening side a first closure flap (1) which matches the cross-sectional opening of the box, has an insert tab (2) and can be folded round into the plane (E) of the opening. The first flap is associated with two further closure flaps (3) which can be folded across same into the plane of the opening cross-section. These two further flaps which have a smaller surface area than the first have connectors (4) to connect with the first flap.
