The housing (10) is formed for connection of screening mesh (60,62) of cable (76) and has housing part with outer thread, extending into end side cone, annular groove (42) is formed in transition between housing part and cone. Groove and cone are surrounded by screwed nut (16). Inclination angle, enclosed by outer face (46,48) of cone and longitudinal axis (24) of housing, is larger at its end (48) facing cable inlet, than opposite end (46), facing annular groove. Typically outer face of cone has several angularly abutting part-faces in axial direction.
