The coat hanger has a yoke (20) with two connecting rods (21,22) and two fastening components (30) which each have a cross piece (31), a sleeve (32) and a holder (33). The sleeve has a cavity in which is located a bush through which passes the support rod of the seat headrest in the vehicle. The holder has two opposed holes (330) aligning with a hole (310) in the cross piece. An annular collar (34) is provided on the inner side of the holder above the holes, and the holder has a spring (35) and a button (36) which has a hole (360) aligning with the holes in the holder and the cross piece.
