Front-cable-cutter for electricians working in confined spaces, has mutual spacing of grip sections made not greater than maximum mutual spacing of jaw-parts.
Front-cable-cutter for electricians working in confined spaces, has mutual spacing of grip sections made not greater than maximum mutual spacing of jaw-parts.
A front-cable cutter (10) has a hinge (18) in which the two parts of the jaws (14,16) and the two handle grips (28,30) are swivel/hinge-mounted with the jaw and handle-grip elements tightly joined to one another in the region of the hinge. With the jaw elements closed, the section of the left grip (30) adjacent to the hinge (18) is at least in part-regions a 'right' grip and vice versa. The section of the right grip (28) adjacent to the hinge, at least in part-regions is available as a 'left' grip part (22). The mutual maximum spacing of jaw parts of the two sections (22,24) is not greater than the maximum mutual spacing (d) of the jaw-parts.
