Rear cover for an ultrasound detector essentially comprises a base plate, whereby the base plate has a socket recess on its outer side for a connection head, while on the inner side of the base plate there is a socket for a connection head as well as two snap locks that mesh in the detector housing. Two positioning nicks are also provided in the socket for the connection head.
