The slow cooker pot comprises an inner (12) and an outer (11) pot. A screw connection (14) on the base of the inner pot allows a heat collector plate (15) to be fitted with a gap between it and its base. This prevents direct heat exchange and allows the pot to be kept warm for a longer period.
