The socket (10) has connected upper and lower retainer apertures (11,12). A screw driver head (20) can be fitted into the lower aperture. A quick release device (30) in the upper aperture has an ejector bar (31) and a spring (36). The bar pushed the head out of the lower aperture when the user presses on the quick release device. The bar has a circular head (32) and a shaft (33) with ring groove (34) for a locking ring. The screw driver head is held in the retainer aperture by a spring clip (16), which is located in a recess (14) in the lower part of the socket.
