Safety grid for vents and fanlights in flat roofs has frame rim placed round opening and fitted on inside with metal mesh plate connected through tensile bars

The safety grid has a frame rim (10) placed around the opening (12) in the roof and fitted with a swivel flap (18). A protective metal mesh plate is connected to the inside faces of the frame rim through tensile bars which extend out from the mesh plate. The mesh plate is formed by grid strips enclosed by a peripheral strip which is slightly wider. The tensile bars are riveted to the peripheral strip.
